Why Family photography?

Family sessions are at the hear of what we do. Watching your family begin and transform over the years is such a joy to watch and be a part of it. I love when families return for each new birth, but I really love getting to enjoy the fun stages of childhood. When I get to run around with them on the beach, take them on small nature hikes in the woods and let their silly faces come out in the studio. Wherever we meet for a family session it is sure to be fun and memorable. Gone are the days of stuffy boring family photos. Now it is all about balance and having fun. No more stress, no more matchy matchy! Let's pose and smile but also cut loose and run around a little. At the end of your session I want your kids to say "we had so much fun" and look forward to seeing Mrs. Trisha again. And dads, well they won't even realize it was an hour long and be ok with doing it again and again.

What to expect?

Most cake family sessions take place on location but we do offer instudio as well.  I will work alongside you to choose the perfect location for you and your family. In addition, I will help you curate outfits to bring the vision to life and make sure everyone coordinates. After the session, I will work with you to preserve these memories and go over ordering options.

How to book a session?

Booking your family session can be done any time during the year. We recommend the first part of the year when life is less hectic. Not to mention we tend to have cooler weather- perfect for outdoor session.  So pick out some fun outfits and gather the family together...the more the merrier.
